Heroes Trip to Belfast



On Friday the 20th of September the YMCA heroes group and the Mencap group went on a trip to Belfast to visit Stormont and W5.
As part of our group work sessions we had discussed how laws are made and on the trip we got to see where they are made in Stormont. We took part in a tour of the building and got to see the chambers where the assembly members sit. It was a beautiful day with blue skies all around so we ate our lunch outside at the new play park on the Stormont estate.

To end our visit to Belfast we went to W5 and had a fantastic time learning and discovering.

Ireland and UK road trip- Google Maps Style

Ireland and UK Road Trip Game Heroes travels welcomes you on an incredible road trip around Ireland and the UK like no other! Use Google maps to travel to new locations, answer the questions at each stop try to get the most points! This puzzle is best solved on a computer as it uses Google Street View which may not work as well on a mobile device (depending on your handset) and can get a bit fiddly when it does! Our starting point on this marvellous adventure is indicated with a green arrow and is labelled 'A'. Using the Google form, you will see a bus ticket with location information and a question at the bottom. To open the Google map, click the link that is on the screen. This will direct you to another webpage where you will need to search around to find the answer.
